You can schedule a tour right on the website by clicking Schedule a Tour and choosing a date and time that works for you. If you prefer, you can also call (209) 248-6000, email leasing@thegrant.com, or submit a contact form and the leasing team will help set it up. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID when you arrive.

Guarantors need to show 5 times the rent and must reside in US.

Income qualification is 2.5 x the rent.

Application fees, including the amount, refundability, and payment details, are outlined in the Community Cost Guide on the Floor Plans page.

Hines is committed to making the community accessible to people with disabilities. If you need a reasonable change to an apartment, community area, service, or policy because of a disability, you may ask the leasing team for an accommodation or modification. Hines will review the request and provide assistance as required by fair housing law.

Move-In, Lease Terms

Lease term options vary by availability and may range from month-to-month to 15 months.

Move-in requirements typically include a valid photo ID, proof of renters insurance (if required), first payment, and completion of any move-in scheduling or elevator reservations, where applicable.

Furnished Units are available upon request. The monthly price will vary based on what furnishings are requested.

We allow lease transfers but not subletting.

At least a 30 day notice is required.

Smoking is not permitted in any multifamily property in Concord, CA.

Downtown Concord/Todos Santos Plaza District Todos Santos historic 2.5 acre downtown plaza is the community gathering place of Concord. In 2018, the plaza was named one of three Great Places in California by the American Planning Association.

Todos Santos Plaza hosts a number of events, such as summer concerts, a farmer’s market, and others throughout the year. It is a wonderful place to enjoy an outdoor concert with the family or just enjoy a lunchtime stroll in the California sun. For those looking for a place to play or kick back, a lush public park occupies the plaza’s core. Very close!  There is a bus stop at the corner of Clayton Road and Grant Street, in between our North (1776) and South (1676) buildings.  1 block down the street is the Concord BART station.

Community & Resident Experience

Yes, The Grant hosts resident social events 1-2 times every month and 2-3 larger events throughout the year.  Our monthly events are called "Wine Down Wednesdays" or "Paint & Pinot", where we host drinks and snacks, and sometimes an activity,  in our rooftop clubhouse on a Wednesday evening to give residents a chance to meet their neighbors and socialize.  Examples of larger events have been: An Annual Friendsgiving catered dinner, Casino Night, Summer BBQ, Mardi Gras Themed, Holiday Sips and Treats, and Breakfast On The Go.
